Never forget 💙
Today, we remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, as well as the brave men and women who risked their own lives to save others. Let us unite on this day of reflection and remembrance.

New skills unlocked! 🔓✨
Today, Mortimer Jordan High School color guard seniors visited North Jefferson Middle School's P.E. classes to share the basics of their craft! With each move, students got an inside look at the rhythm, strength, and precision it takes to spin the flag, and were even treated to a special performance at the end of the lesson! 👏
Huge thank you to each senior who took the time to teach and inspire these classes today!

FCCLA meeting Thursday, September 10

Congratulations to the PE Badminton Winners

Please make plans to join us for Open House on Tuesday, September 22. We will begin in the gym for a brief hello, and then proceed to attend all 7 of your student's classes. The goal of this evening is so that you may put a face with a name, and see the different environments your student visits each day. We will spend only 5-6 minutes in each classroom, and then at the end of the evening we encourage you to stop by the tables in the library to see what all we have to offer outside of the classroom. While there will not be time built into the schedule to discuss individual students with teachers, we do encourage you to reach out to your child's teacher if you need to ask questions or set up a parent conference.
We look forward to seeing everyone then!

We are feeling energized and ready for the academic year ahead following today’s Back to School Conference! 💙📚
The theme for this school year, "Realizing our Potential, Redefining the Standard,” is all about acknowledging and appreciating our progress, while setting even bigger goals and raising the bar. Today, our faculty and staff gathered in one place to do exactly this. Together, we celebrated past wins and set the stage for a successful school year ahead.
We sincerely appreciate our educators and administrators for participating today, as well as each of our presenters for their time. We are beyond excited for the 2026-2027 school year, and can’t wait to see everyone in the classroom next week! 🎉
