ACAP Student Encouragement Notes
As we get ready to take the ACAP test after Spring Break, NJMS would love for you to write a note to encourage your child! We will be scribing the notes on banners in each hallway for all students to see. The students last year would stop to read all of the notes from parents and it was encouraging to watch them walk away with a smile.
Please write a short, one sentence note encouraging them to do their best.
If you have multiple children at NJMS, please complete one form per child.
All notes must be received by Monday, March 30th. Please fill out all parts of the form linked below.

Jefcoed students from Bryan Elementary and North Jefferson Middle School participated in University of North Alabama’s Day of Auxiliary. They spent Saturday, March 14 learning a fun and fast routine with Kelsey Lewis, UNA Majorette. There were lots of tosses, smiles, and water breaks as they twirled with others from around the state. Thank you, UNA Auxiliary for a great afternoon to twirl!

If you have a current 6th or 7th grade student at NJMS, they are eligible to tryout at some point for a team for NEXT school year, 2026-2027. In order to be prepared, please click on the link below to access the Google Tryout Intent Form. As you complete this form, it will let you know what is required before your student can tryout for any school team. Specifically, what documents are required (there is a link at the very beginning of the form) and how to set up your student's DragonFly account (also required). Please keep in mind these things must be done before the first day of tryouts, but can be done as early as now.
