If you have a current 6th or 7th grade student at NJMS, they are eligible to tryout at some point for a team for NEXT school year, 2026-2027. In order to be prepared, please click on the link below to access the Google Tryout Intent Form. As you complete this form, it will let you know what is required before your student can tryout for any school team. Specifically, what documents are required (there is a link at the very beginning of the form) and how to set up your student's DragonFly account (also required). Please keep in mind these things must be done before the first day of tryouts, but can be done as early as now. If you have any questions, please reach out to Coach Graveman (cgraveman@jefcoed.com) or Coach Johnsey (njohnsey@jefcoed.com).

Pageant forms, payment and headshots due tomorrow! 👑

Current 8th grade students are still going to MJHS tomorrow but our time has changed to afternoon. They are going to tour the school, meet and hear from the counselors and administrators, and receive their course selection paperwork.
There are still a number of parents who did not complete the form in Parent Square, giving permission for their student to attend. Please complete that today so that your student can join us!
There will be a parent meeting tomorrow night at Mortimer Jordan High School that begins at 5:15. It will be held in the auditorium. Course selection sheets will be due back to our front office (NJMS) no later than 2/12/26.
If you have any questions about the 8th grade tour, please reach out to Mrs. Stewart or to Britany in the front office. Questions about the parent meeting should be directed to the high school.

Congratulations to our NJMS dance team Devilettes. They placed second in Junior High Pom at the UDA competition! 💙

Congratulations to our boys wrestling team for placing first in the Southern Conference Tournament.

#GoodThingsHappening!💙 We are thrilled to share that more than two dozen JEFCOED schools earned the Environmental Protection Agency's ENERGY STAR Certification! In recognition of their commitment to energy conservation and sustainability, Superintendent Dr. Walter Gonsoulin and representatives from Cenergistic presented 27 of our schools with awards and certificates at this week’s board meeting! Please help us congratulate the following schools:
