Recently our FBLA toured Protective Stadium and learned about careers in sports management. They also visited REDCAR Ice Cream and Coffee in Morris and enjoyed delicious ice cream and specialty drinks. REDCAR is owned by Alexis Pettis. November is National Entrepreneurship Month and we encourage everyone to support our local businesses and entrepreneurs. Mrs. Pettis is also an alumni of North Jefferson Middle School.

Our 6th grade math teachers, Mrs. Clayton and Mrs. Holt were session presenters at the ACTM fall forum this past week. ACTM is the Alabama Council of Teachers of Math. Their session was Creating Engaging Lessons for the Kinesthetic Learner & other Enriching Tasks to Increase Student Involvement. It was such a popular session that it was full. We are so proud of what our teachers are accomplishing and sharing their expertise with others. 💙🎉
