NJMS made their 1st appearance at State for Science Olympiad!
The team finished top 6 in the state which was the highest standing for Jefferson County in B division.
The NJMS team placed in 8 events which included two 1st place finishes , two 2nd place finishes and four 3rd places finishes!!
This marks the first NJMS team to make it to State!! Way to make history NJMS SO team!!!
8th grade tshirt order forms are due Friday, March 21. Forms are on the school website and in the front office.

We’re extremely proud to announce that both our Symphonic and Concert Bands earned straight Superior Ratings at Music Performance Assessment this week! They were evaluated through a prepared stage performance and sight reading, earning the highest possible ratings from all adjudicators. Help us congratulate our students and this outstanding accomplishment! It’s a great day to be a Blue Devil!

The team had ten first place finishes, four 2nd place and three 3rd place. Everyone medaled and this sealed our spot to the State Championship!!!

Scoliosis screening will be done on March 7th at 9 am All 6-8 grade students are eligible. If you want your student screened, please print the form, fill it out, and return it to the front office by March 6. There will also be hardcopies of the consent form in the school office.
