We are excited to welcome our new teachers.
First up is Savannah Falcone. She has taught for 3 years and will be teaching 6th and 7th grade science.
When she isn't at work she enjoys cooking, her dogs, hanging out with her friends, decorating, planning a wedding and sleeping.
She can say the alphabet backwards!

Please help us congratulate Mortimer Jordan High School student Madyson Burney on making it to the Junior Olympics! Madyson is competing in two events against other elite athletes from across the country!
Prior to the Junior Olympics, Madyson was the middle school 100m Hurdles champion this past outdoor season, representing North Jefferson Middle School. We’re so proud of you, Madyson! Best wishes as you compete!

From MJHS:
👏Laylyn, Taelyn, and Kalin placed 2nd in the nation in Hospitality, Tourism, and Recreation!
🎉Dawson received a silver medal in Public Policy Advocacy!

From NJMS:
👏Lola, Caroline, Willow and Ellison finished in the top ten in the nation and received gold for their Nutrition and Wellness presentation!
🎉Harper and Brynnen received gold for their presentation on Sports Nutrition!

We are so proud of our FCCLA members who represented NJMS for the first time at the National Conferece in Orlando. Congratulations to Lola Atkinson, Caroline Cope, Willow Grimes and Ellison McGaughy on finishing in the TOP 10 IN THE NATION and receiving GOLD on their Nutrition and Wellness presentation!!  Also, congratulations to Harper Lovell and Brynnen Vaughn for receiving GOLD on their presentation in Sports Nutrition! They had the opportunity to attend multiple leadership sessions and were able to spend time at Universal Studios and Aquatica Water Park!  Congratulations, ladies, we are so proud of each of you!! #fccla #fcclanlc2025 #jefcoedstrong #everydayisbluedevilday

Our North Jefferson FBLA Officers had a wonderful experience visiting Anaheim, California attending the National Conference. They enjoyed attending workshops, networking with pin trading and the intense competition. We are developing the future leaders of our community. The sky is the limit.

The 2025 summer UDA camp was a success for the NJMS Devilettes. The girls recieved all superior ratings. Seven girls were awarded All American. Congratulations to Sophie Blackmon Collins Carroll Emma Ezekiel Claire Travis Jacqlyn Callough Lucy Johnson Abigail Gravitt for making All American at UDA Dance Camp. We are so proud of these girls and they were awarded an opportunity to dance at a Walt Disney Parade in Orlando, Florida.

The Jefferson County Council PTA recently celebrated four talented students from Jefferson County Schools who placed in the Alabama PTA Reflections contest! Two of these young ladies were able to stop by the most recent board meeting, where they were recognized by the superintendent! 🎉Congratulations To: Aria Gwin - John E.
