Our Character Big Idea for March is Cooperation. Throughout the month we will be on the lookout for students who exhibit thing willingness to work with others. As Helen Keller stated "Together, we can do a lot." Congratulations to these students they were are shining examples of "cooperation" from last week.

3rd grade has been studying space. Today we were able to talk with a real engineer from NASA. She actually grew up in Gardendale, Alabama. The kids asked amazing questions.




Our FPS team qualified for State Bowl coming in 2nd in their pool. We did not win a trophy at State Bowl, but we had a great time traveling to Troy University at Montgomery to compete! We are so proud of them!!

The 2025 Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama Kids Marathon was Saturday, February 22. Several Mount Olive students participated in this event! Way to go!

Our Robotics Team in Action! Tuesday, the robotics team competed in their 3rd robotics competition. They are currently 12/24 teams. We will go to the Championship on Feb
15 for a chance to go to State.





Dog Man hit the theaters in January 31. To celebrate the library gave away copies of Dog Man books! We had 5 winners!


In Mrs. Hendrix's class, students are reading nonfiction texts about geology. As part of this CKLA unit, students got to participate in a hands-on experiment about the different types of tectonic plate movements.
