Mrs. Hendrix promised her 4th graders from the 2025-2026 school year that those who earned the most growth in reading would get to spray her with silly string. The motivation succeeded, because twenty 4th graders earned a 4 - the highest possible - growth on their reading ACAP test! So this year's 4th graders know what to work towards! Congratulations to all those students who put forth their best effort and earned their reward! #mountolivepanthers

Congratulations to our Teacher of the Month at Mount Olive Elementary, Mrs. Campbell! She does an outstanding job teaching 5th grade and this award is well-deserved for all of her hard work and effort. She incorporates many engaging, challenging, hands-on projects into the ELA curriculum for our 5th graders and has a heart for her students!

Ellie Brown is our first Kid Librarian of the Month for the 26-27 school year! Kid Librarians are chosen from our Student of the Month winners in grades 3-5. Ellie chose a few books that she loves and has them placed on a special display. Stop by the library and check them out soon!

Challenge ACCEPTED, MOE family! September is Attendance Awareness Month, and we’re ALL IN for the 👻 JEFCOED Trick-or-Treat Attendance Challenge!
Throughout September, our classes will compete for the chance to experience the ultimate Halloween field trip! The elementary/intermediate classes with the highest average daily attendance will head to the Board of Education on Friday, October 30!
If one of our classes wins, students will:
