Connecting Families. Creating Opportunities.

At our Annual Title I Meeting, we had the opportunity to share what it means to be a Title I school, the resources and opportunities available to our students and families, and the important role parents play in their children’s education.

At HMS, parent voices matter, and strong family partnerships help open doors for student success.

Science is something we DO, not just something we read about!

Mrs. Miles’ 6th Grade Gold Science students put science into action during their Day & Night Lab, exploring firsthand how Earth’s rotation causes day and night.

Students made observations, applied the Scientific Method, discussed their ideas with classmates, and drew evidence-based conclusions.

The classroom was filled with student discourse, teamwork, questions, and discovery as our Panthers learned from one another through hands-on science.

Great work, Panthers!

We are feeling energized and ready for the academic year ahead following today’s Back to School Conference! 💙📚

The theme for this school year, "Realizing our Potential, Redefining the Standard,” is all about acknowledging and appreciating our progress, while setting even bigger goals and raising the bar. Today, our faculty and staff gathered in one place to do exactly this. Together, we celebrated past wins and set the stage for a successful school year ahead.

We sincerely appreciate our educators and administrators for participating today, as well as each of our presenters for their time. We are beyond excited for the 2026-2027 school year, and can’t wait to see everyone in the classroom next week! 🎉
