THE PANTHER WAY | PERSONAL VALUES & CHOICES What matters most to you, and do your choices reflect it? This week, our Panthers explored Habit 2: Begin With the End in Mind, focusing on how personal values shape decisions and influence the future. Students examined what matters most to them, identified people who inspire their values, and considered how to make decisions when important values compete. The lesson reinforced a powerful principle: Our values should guide our choices, and our choices help shape our future. Ask Your Panther: What are your most important values, and how do they influence the decisions you make? Own Your Learning. Own Your Growth.

THE PANTHER WAY | THE CIRCLE OF CONTROL What can you control? As part of our continued focus on Habit 1: Be Proactive, our Panthers explored the Circle of Control and learned an important lesson about personal responsibility. While we cannot control everything that happens around us, we can control how we respond. Inside Our Control: * Our attitude * Our effort * Our words * Our actions * Our responses Outside Our Control: * Other people’s choices * What others say or think * Unexpected circumstances * Things that have already happened Our Panthers learned that being proactive means focusing their energy on what they can control rather than allowing circumstances or other people’s actions to determine their behavior. Ask Your Panther: When something doesn’t go your way, what can you still control? Own Your Learning. Own Your Growth.
