We're so proud of JEFCOED theatre directors, Ms. Taylor Chatman (Pleasant Grove High School) and Mr. Carl Dean (Shades Valley High School), for starring in local musicals!👏
Ms. Chatman played the role of Alice in "Big River," and Mr. Dean is playing Earl in "Waitress". It's wonderful to see our talented educators shine on stage!






From interactive workshops that felt like exhilarating rides, to hands-on experiences in the "carnival" playground, it was a fantastic day of learning, collaboration, and fun. Our educators left with a carousel of new strategies and tools to bring their classrooms to life!

During 6th grade orientation, students met teachers and librarians, toured the school AND got an awesome demo of the instruments they can play in band!🥁🎺

Our first and second-year leaders spent the day sharpening their tech skills at Camp ETeam! Our amazing educators will use these skills to continue empowering their schools, helping students grow academically with the help of technology. This makes us JEFCOED proud!

We had so much fun catching up with the Hueytown High School band yesterday as they gear up for their best season yet! You won't want to miss their "All that Jazz" themed halftime show!



As the season quickly approaches, our teams are speaking with news outlets about what we can expect once they hit the field!
In total, there are more than 40 schools from the Birmingham metro area participating in Media Days!

This week, educators attended a conference at the Central Office Building where they learned more about integrating art into their lessons. Additionally, educators who do teach art, music, theater, and dance learned how they can further enhance their classes! We can’t wait to see what techniques they bring back to their classrooms!




This year's halftime show will feature popular hits from the 90s in celebration of Clay-Chalkville's 30th anniversary!🎉 We can't wait to see them take the field this fall!





It allows students to explore the world of STEM, paving the way for them to possibly pursue a career in related fields! We’re so proud of our students for working hard and challenging themselves this summer! Way to go!

Students from Mortimer Jordan High School and North Jefferson Middle School walked away from the FCCLA National Leadership Conference with several awards!
From MJHS:
👏Laylyn, Taelyn, and Kalin placed 2nd in the nation in Hospitality, Tourism, and Recreation!
🎉Dawson received a silver medal in Public Policy Advocacy!
From NJMS:
👏Lola, Caroline, Willow and Ellison finished in the top ten in the nation and received gold for their Nutrition and Wellness presentation!
🎉Harper and Brynnen received gold for their presentation on Sports Nutrition!
We’re so proud of each of you! Way to go!





He hosted a free football camp for kids and teens in our area. These young athletes not only learned skills they can use on the football field, but also built confidence as they trained alongside Nico and experienced coaches!




📚NAF’s Academy of Finance teaches students about financial services through a curriculum that includes entrepreneurship, banking and credit, financial planning and more! We’re so excited our students will have the opportunity to explore this field!



Students enjoyed hands-on learning, getting a preview of what to expect come August, as their parents received crucial information ahead of the school year!
We can't wait to welcome our students back in less than one month!🎉🏫

Students at Pleasant Grove Elementary's Kindergarten Camp learned all about what they can expect in the classroom this fall, while also having some fun! (The Good Morning Song was a hit🕺🎶)
