We are beyond proud to see students in Minor High School's Cosmetology and Barbering Program using their skills to make a true difference in the lives of others! 💈💜

Students in the CTE program provide their services to seniors throughout the Adamsville area, and recently visited a senior center where they cut and styled hair, trimmed beards, and gave manicures. We applaud our students for taking their talents beyond the classroom, and celebrate the incredible work they're doing! 👏✨

What a cozy evening dedicated to literacy at Camp Read A Lot! 📚⛺️

Last week, West Jefferson Elementary School transformed campus into a campground, welcoming families for a fun and informative conversation about the Alabama Literacy Act! As parents listened in, their children played literacy games, and later, everyone reunited, following the storybook trail to a campfire — complete with fireside songs thanks to Mr. Garrison! 👏🎶

This creativity is unmatched, and we applaud West Jefferson for making literacy night an unforgettable experience!
