Today, we had our 1st "Tiger Time" 🐯 of the year! You might ask, "What is Tiger Time"? This is a time where all students and faculty come together to talk about our school expectations, such as attendance, behavior, and academics. We also review our West Jefferson ROAR and celebrate student and school achievements. 🥳After our whole group assembly, we break off into Tiger Families, which are small groups of a mix of students from each grade level. This allows students the opportunity to build relationships with older and younger students as well as different teachers. In their small groups, they work together on an activity that goes along with each months' topic/theme. Today we celebrated students that received perfect attendance for August and high⬆️ scores on the ACAP!!! 🐾

We are feeling energized and ready for the academic year ahead following today’s Back to School Conference! 💙📚

The theme for this school year, "Realizing our Potential, Redefining the Standard,” is all about acknowledging and appreciating our progress, while setting even bigger goals and raising the bar. Today, our faculty and staff gathered in one place to do exactly this. Together, we celebrated past wins and set the stage for a successful school year ahead.

We sincerely appreciate our educators and administrators for participating today, as well as each of our presenters for their time. We are beyond excited for the 2026-2027 school year, and can’t wait to see everyone in the classroom next week! 🎉
