Get excited, JEFCOED Family!🏀🎉 This afternoon, Mortimer Jordan High School and Pleasant Grove High School will hit the court in the Elite 8 of the AHSAA Girls State Basketball Tournament! Mortimer Jordan plays Hazel Green at 12:30 p.m., and Pleasant Grove is taking on Montgomery Catholic at 4 p.m. We're cheering these teams on and wish them the best of luck as they hit the court!

Cheer and Mascot Tryout clinic will be February 23rd-27th! Parents MUST attend ONE of the mandatory parent meetings (January 21st and January 28th) in order for the candidate to be eligible to tryout. With competition against over 100 schools, 2,000 students, and more than
40 performers and 20 designers in each category, we are proud to announce that the Spartan
Showstoppers earned an outstanding 15 Superior ratings and 4 Excellent ratings! To our incredible
performers — your hard work, courage, and dedication shined brilliantly on that stage. You proved that
you belong in the room, on the stage, and in the spotlight. Take these victories, learn from the journey,
and come back even stronger next year. The stage is yours, and we cannot wait to watch you rise again.
A huge congratulations to Ms. Chatman, for being nominated by her theatre colleagues for Trumbauer’s
Teacher of the Year.
