Congratulations to the outstanding students of Pleasant Grove High School DECA on their incredible performance at the Alabama DECA Career Development Conference!
The chapter brought home several prestigious Chapter Awards, including Diamond Chapter.
With Individual Achievements going to:
Courtney Mumpfield – 3rd Place, Restaurant and Food Service Management Series
Kenneth Spencer – 4th Place, Entrepreneurship Series
And middle schooler Ava Dawson-Long earning 2nd Place in Professional Selling
Special recognition also goes to our School-Based Enterprises Spartan Shop and Rise and Shine Spartan Café earning Gold Certification.
These talented students, along with two school store managers, have earned the opportunity to compete against DECA members from around the world at the DECA International Career Development Conference this April in Atlanta!
We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence. Way to represent Pleasant Grove!

Get excited, JEFCOED Family!🏀🎉 This afternoon, Mortimer Jordan High School and Pleasant Grove High School will hit the court in the Elite 8 of the AHSAA Girls State Basketball Tournament! Mortimer Jordan plays Hazel Green at 12:30 p.m., and Pleasant Grove is taking on Montgomery Catholic at 4 p.m. We're cheering these teams on and wish them the best of luck as they hit the court!

ELITE 8 BOUND!🏀🎉 Let's hear it for Pleasant Grove High School and Mortimer Jordan High School's girls basketball teams! After advancing to the Elite 8 of the AHSAA State Basketball Championship, they'll now hit the court next week in hopes of continuing their run for the state title!
