We are proud to announce that our students Lillian Robuck and Karoline Taylor had artwork chosen to represent Jefferson County at the State Superintendent's Art Show in Mobile. Of the nearly 200 submissions to the Jefferson County show, only 10 elementary and 10 secondary pieces were chosen for the state show. Many of us went to sleep on Thursday night, thinking it wouldn't happen after all. And then it did!! This morning, the Alabama Department of Education approved a resolution recognizing Dr. Walter B. Gonsoulin, Jr. as the 2025 Alabama Superintendent of the Year!! Dr. Gonsoulin serves State School Board Districts Three, Four, and Seven with heart, vision, and determination. We couldn't be prouder of his leadership.

Middle School students will have designated times to shop the fair with their English classes. High School students will also be given the opportunity to shop during their 4th block classes.
