This free performance begins at 11 a.m. and will feature the talents of middle and high school band members from throughout our district. They’ve been hard at work rehearsing for the big show and are ready to put on an outstanding performance! We hope to see you there!

🔥 It’s a Big Day at Oak Grove! 🐯🏈
Friday is going to be an exciting day at OGHS as we gear up for our first varsity football home playoff game in many years! Here’s everything you need to know ⬇️
🎉 Morning Hype – K-12 Tiger Parade
We’re doing something special instead of a normal pep rally this week! Beginning at 10am Friday, our band, Tigerettes, cheerleaders, and varsity football team will walk parade style to the elementary school so everyone can join in cheering on the Tigers! 🎺🎉
Afterwards, they’ll return to the high school, march through the students, and lead us in some cheers to get game-day ready! 💪
👨👩👧👦 Parents are welcome — please park in the grassy area at the front of the school (not in the bus lane), enter through the main office to sign in as a visitor, and join us behind the band room at 10am!

Each month our teachers and staff nominate students and colleagues who demonstrate a specific characteristic that makes a difference in our school. For the month of August the spotlight is on initiative. These Tigers stepped up, took action, and showed what it means to go the extra mile.
STUDENTS OF THE MONTH
✨ Robbi Green
Robbi is always ready to help. She takes the initiative to deliver packages for the office without even being asked, showing reliability and teamwork.
✨ Brayden Boaz
As a junior in a mostly freshman class Brayden leads by example. He completes assignments quickly, asks for more work, and offers help to his classmates without hesitation.
✨ Lily Fox
Lily shows initiative by always being prepared and eager to learn. She is the first to raise her hand, follows directions immediately, and gives her very best every day.
✨ Xavier Coonley
Xavier makes initiative a habit. He arrives on time because he never wants to miss anything, completes his work, and helps classmates consistently.
STAFF OF THE MONTH
✨ AJ Widener
She spent four hours after work clearing the student parking lot before our first home football game. This act of pride and ownership set the stage for a great season opener.
TEACHER OF THE MONTH
✨ Taylor Adamson
She created an extensive, creative, and detailed Homecoming Guide. She poured in countless hours outside of school, thought of every detail, and even added fun “Easter eggs” for students. Her initiative ensures this will be the best Homecoming yet and provides a model of excellence for years to come.
💛 Congratulations to each of these outstanding individuals for setting the bar high. Thank you for inspiring those around you and showing what it means to be an Oak Grove Tiger. 🐾
