Making history never looked so good ✨

Our girls are officially the FIRST students from Oak Grove High School—and possibly all of Jefferson County—to take the stage at DECA Inc.’s International Career Development Conference!

👏 Huge congratulations to Chloe Roberson, Emily Thompson, and Trenda Gilbert for earning a Silver Ribbon Medallion as top performers in their presentation for Integrated Marketing Campaign–Event with their Rolling Pumpkin Patch project!

We are beyond proud of the hard work, creativity, and confidence they brought to the international stage. This is a moment that will go down in OGHS history 💙

Spotlight on the Arts was a massive success! 🌟 Our visual arts, band, and theater students absolutely wowed the crowd Thursday night. From the stunning gallery featuring K-12 artwork to a soulful performance by the Jazz Band and a thrilling sneak peek of the upcoming musical, the talent on display was world-class. And thanks to Ms. Broussard's Event Planning class, we had tasty refreshments too. We were also honored to welcome back OGHS alumnus Noah Cook, who delivered a truly inspiring speech to our young artists. The Big Announcement: Huge congratulations to Mrs. Winholtz and Mrs. Schuffert! 🏆 They’ve been awarded a $15,000 Alabama Arts Education Initiative Grant to fund their "Cultural Arts Vending Machine" project. Keep an eye out—this innovative machine will be ready for students to enjoy during the 26-27 school year! 🎨✨
