This morning, the Alabama Department of Education approved a resolution recognizing Dr. Walter B. Gonsoulin, Jr. as the 2025 Alabama Superintendent of the Year!! Dr. Gonsoulin serves State School Board Districts Three, Four, and Seven with heart, vision, and determination. We couldn't be prouder of his leadership. Congratulations, Dr. Gonsoulin! Congratulations to Isla Glaze for winning 3rd place in the Jefferson County Farm-City Poster Contest. Isla was honored at the 2024 Farm-City Banquet sponsored by the Jefferson County Farmers Federation. Oak Grove Elementary had over 25 entries in the poster contest this year.
