Today is School Custodian Appreciation Day, and we hope you'll join us in celebrating our outstanding custodians here at JEFCOED!🎉
These heroes not only ensure students and teachers spend their days in clean, safe environments, but also spread positivity throughout their schools. We appreciate all they do to help our district thrive! When you see your school custodian today, be sure to tell them thank you!

Don’t forget, JEFCOED is going gold for Give Hope Day!
This Thursday, Sept. 25, be sure to wear yellow or gold to help bring awareness to childhood cancer, and spread hope to those fighting.
We are proud to partner with the Hope for Autumn Foundation for Give Hope Day again this year. The foundation not only supports families of childhood cancer patients, but also helps fund crucial research.
Sadly, more than 150 children are diagnosed with cancer each year in our state. Together, we can support organizations like Hope for Autumn that do so much for patients and their loved ones. We can’t wait to see everyone in their yellow this Thursday!

The easiest way to shop the book fair is with an eWallet. You can allow a set amount for your student to spend and anything left over will turn into an electronic gift card that can be used online or added to the next book fair. No worries about loose change or losing cash! See how to set up your child's eWallet here.

Our Fall Scholastic Book Fair begins NEXT WEDNESDAY, September 3rd. Students will shop during their regular library class. You can also shop online at
https://www.scholastic.com/bf/mccallaelementaryschool1. The best thing you can do is to make a list for your student and set up and eWallet so you don't have to send cash to school.
