Congratulations to all 8 of this year's JCIB National Civics Bee Regional Finalists! On Saturday, April 11th, 8 of our JCIB 7th and 8th graders competed in the Regional Final of the 2026 National Civics Bee, representing nearly half of our entire region of Alabama. These students demonstrated an incredible amount of maturity and sportsmanship during their competition and we could not be more proud of their efforts. Ultimately, 4 of the 5 finalists would be JCIB students and 2 JCIB 7th graders went on to qualify for the State Final, where they will compete against 10 other students for a chance to represent the entire state in the National Civics Bee. The commitment of these students to Civics and academic competition are yet another wonderful showcase of JCIB Excellence!
