Rockets travel to Pinson Valley tonight! Kickoff at 7pm. Today's theme is a Jersey-Out. Wear your favorite team jersey to school !

🚀 Parking for the game is $5 CASH ONLY
🚀 Tickets are $8 at the gate CASH or GoFan $9
🚀 There will be an entrance gate in the visitor's parking lot so that guests do not have to walk all the way around to get into the stadium

Game Day!

Today is Game Day for the GHS football and volleyball teams! The theme for today is "Welcome to the Jungle". Students (and staff) are encouraged to show their school spirit by dressing up for game day! All attire are to be within dress code.

Rockets, today we get our first taste of Game Day! The GHS football teams will travel to Jasper for a jamboree tonight, kick off is at 7pm. The LaunchPad theme is Western or Country. Students are encouraged to dress up for school & come to the game! As a reminder, all attire should be within dress code.

Get ready for a full week of events next week!
🚀 Softball tryouts and Flag Football practice are Monday, August 18th.
🚀 Volleyball season opens up with a tournament in Hoover next Friday & Saturday!
🚀 The Rockets welcome the Jets of James Clemens next Friday in Driver Stadium for the official start of football season!

Tomorrow is the big day! First day of the 2025-2026 school year! We are excited to see all of our students tomorrow! Parents, make sure your student knows to put cell phones and other devices in their backpacks before entering the building tomorrow (or leave them in their car). All homerooms will be posted on the walls throughout Rocket Way!
