Congratulations to the Bryan Elementary Science Olympiad team for their hard work at the Jefferson County Tournament! The team had five students who placed 1st in their events, Ellie Seehusen, Cleat Irons, Dixon Roye, Samantha Farley and Mally Clay. In March the Science team will travel to Auburn University for the State Event. Great job Science Olympians!

Pre-K registration for 2025 - 2026 opens January 15, 2025 and will close February 21, 2025. In order to register, go to www.jefcoed.com . There will be a Pre-K link on the front page of the website. Acceptance to the program is through a random selection process. Dates for the random drawing will be listed on the JEFCOED website. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to attend the drawing, but it is not a requirement to attend. In order to be eligible for the random drawing, children must meet the following requirements: 1) Be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2025 and 2) Live in the school zone of the Pre-K classroom.

This morning, the Alabama Department of Education approved a resolution recognizing Dr. Walter B. Gonsoulin, Jr. as the 2025 Alabama Superintendent of the Year!! Dr. Gonsoulin serves State School Board Districts Three, Four, and Seven with heart, vision, and determination. We couldn't be prouder of his leadership. Congratulations, Dr. Gonsoulin!
