Mrs. Colvert's and Mrs. Blackston's 2nd grade scholars finished their Ancient Civilizations Unit with a focus on Ancient China. They celebrate by preparing and eating pot stickers and making paper lanterns.

Brighton School's Fall Family Fun Night will be held on October 29th from 5:30 pm-7:00 pm. Come out and enjoy a night of games, treats, a book fair, and costume contests!


Brighton School celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month by highlighting Latino countries and cultures!

Today we wore GOLD to raise awareness and support for children with cancer. The day is marked by wearing gold or yellow clothing and accessories to show solidarity with those affected by cancer. Together we are stronger, together can make a difference! đđ»â

We're calling on everyone to đWEAR GOLDđ as we stand together to honor and raise awareness for children and families affected by childhood cancer. đTogether, we can make a difference!


Congratulations to Dr. Walter Gonsoulin on being named the 2025 District 5 Superintendent of the Year by the School Superintendents of Alabama. Dr. Gonsoulin works tirelessly to expand opportunities for all students, and this recognition reflects his outstanding leadership and dedication to public education.
The statewide winner will be announced in March 2025. We wish Dr. Gonsoulin the best of luck as he continues championing educational excellence!
