To our supportive, encouraging, and driven principals here at JEFCOED — we celebrate you and thank you for making a difference in the lives of our students and educators each day! 📚

We deeply admire your passion for education and are extremely grateful you're here at Jefferson County Schools! 💙 Happy National Principals Month!

Supporting student voices, encouraging creative solutions, and instilling confidence in our young leaders — these are just a few reasons why the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council helps us redefine the standard here at JEFCOED!

Thank you to each student who offered their valuable insight during Friday’s SSAC meeting at McAdory Middle School! Collaboration between our students and leaders ensures a bright future for our district, and we are grateful to have students dedicated to the success of fellow and future scholars!

Today our schools were decked out in a sea of yellow and gold to advocate for Childhood Cancer awareness!🎗️

We appreciate each student, educator, administrator, and employee who supported Hope for Autumn Foundation's Give Hope Day! It was incredibly moving to see our JEFCOED Family stand behind such a meaningful cause. 💛

Campuses throughout our district are already decked out in gold ahead of Give Hope Day tomorrow!🎗️

Be sure to wear gold or yellow on Thursday, September 24, 2026, as we team up with the Hope for Autumn Foundation to raise awareness of childhood cancer and advocate for resources to support patient families.

Give Hope Day hits close to home for many families in our district, and our hearts are with each of you who have a child who has battled cancer or is currently fighting. We stand with you during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and beyond. 💛

Never forget 💙

Today, we remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, as well as the brave men and women who risked their own lives to save others. Let us unite on this day of reflection and remembrance.

👋 Hey JEFCOED Family! This is a friendly reminder that all schools and offices will be closed Monday September 7, 2026, for Labor Day, and that Tuesday, September 8, 2026, is an E-Learning Day for students. We look forward to seeing everyone back in class on Wednesday, September 9, 2026!
