Congratulations to Shealyn Williams for winning the Jefcoed Strong Award for Bragg Middle School!🏆
Mrs. Williams is a true leader who works tirelessly to ensure students and staff have an incredible experience through our PBIS initiative.
She spends countless hours planning and organizing monthly incentive celebrations like Popsicle Parties, Movie and Pizza Parties, and Snack Carts, that have our students genuinely excited to earn positive referrals.
Her talent for organization is evident in how she tracks data and creates individual tickets to make sure every invited student feels recognized and valued.
Beyond her work with students, Shealyn is a dedicated teammate who "springs into action" daily to support her colleagues with resources, organizational tips, and a consistent positive attitude.
Whether she is leading the charge on new motivational ideas, working with our school ambassadors, or serving on the PST team, she does it all with a commitment to excellence that inspires everyone around her.
We are so thankful to have you at our school, Mrs. Williams. This recognition is well-deserved!

🌎➗ Making Waves in 7th Grade Math! 💦📊 Today in 7th grade math, students took a hands-on approach to learning about statistics and percentages through a fun simulation! Using a world map, students randomly placed their finger down multiple times and recorded whether they landed on water or land. Their goal? To see if their collected data supports what they learned in Geography — that approximately 71% of the Earth is covered in water! Students: ✔️ Collected and organized data ✔️ Calculated percentages ✔️ Compared experimental results to real-world facts ✔️ Connected math to another content area This activity combined probability, statistics, and geography knowledge in a meaningful and engaging way. It’s always exciting to see students apply what they’ve learned in one class to another!
