“This is where everything started for me”: Houston Texans wide receiver and Clay-Chalkville graduate, Nico Collins, spent the weekend giving back at his alma mater!🏈👏
He hosted a free football camp for kids and teens in our area. These young athletes not only learned skills they can use on the football field, but also built confidence as they trained alongside Nico and experienced coaches!

Lil’ Spikes Camp is underway at Mortimer Jordan High School and these young athletes are crushing it on the court!🏐✨We’re so proud of them AND our MJHS volleyball players for building up the younger generation!



🏈👏"It's a blessing": Pinson Valley High School graduate and New Orleans Saints cornerback, Kool-Aid McKinstry, returned to PVHS to host a free youth football camp! Athletes spent Saturday on the turf, learning from one of JEFCOED's own!

There, students attended workshops and competed in challenges that showed off their health-related knowledge. 📍JEFCOED in Washington, D.C. — Leadership from Irondale Middle School had the opportunity to visit The White House and U.S. Capitol while attending the Model Schools Conference!
They learned all about the personal touches that presidents and first ladies have made at The White House that still remain today! Our leaders said they were in awe of the history and significance of the various rooms!

The JEFCOED Technology Department has been brewing up something special!☕
They've hosted three "Canva Cafe" trainings for our Central Office and School Office staff in February, April, and June.
More than 25 staff members have learned essential design skills—from graphics and flyers to presentations and certificates—plus some of Canva's best-kept secrets! Thank you to our Technology Department for organizing these training sessions!👏
