We are ecstatic to share that Jefferson County International Baccalaureate School has been named the #1 middle school in Alabama by U.S. News & World Report. This is the second consecutive year that JCIB Middle School has held the top spot.

These rankings are based on reading and math proficiency, and top-ranked schools are "all high-achieving and have succeeded at educating all their students," according to U.S. News & World Report.

This recognition is a direct result of the rigorous instruction provided at JCIB, as well as the dedication of our students and educators. We applaud their hard work and celebrate this latest achievement.
