All-new for the 2026 season, the Birmingham Barons are excited to introduce Lillie's Library Challenge, a program designed to inspire and encourage kids across Central Alabama to develop a love for reading. Lillie Mays is challenging local K–8 students to knock it out of the park by reading four books!
All participating students will receive a free Barons bookmark, and those who reach their reading goal will earn two (2) free Barons game tickets for a Lillie’s Library Challenge Night at Regions Field! Students who redeem their tickets for one of the designated reading nights will also have the opportunity to take part in a special on-field pregame parade to celebrate their achievement.
Once a student finishes the challenge by reading four books, scan the QR code on the bookmark and parents can redeem their child’s complimentary tickets by clicking the “Redeem Your Voucher” button and filling out the registration form.
Parents will also have the option to purchase additional tickets for family members to join in on the fun and cheer on their reader at Regions Field during their parade.
