These 5th graders were recognized by the Environmental Education Association of Alabama for their “Waste Not, Want Not Sustainability” initiative. Led by Ms. Shelia Hill and Ms. Rushton Feagin, students collaborated with experts to address real-world issues—from designing rehabilitation blueprints for the Alabama Bobwhite quail to launching a community fruit tree garden!🪏🌳
