With exactly 20 years of passionate, transformative experience in education, Principal Hill is a dynamic leader dedicated to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and highly impactful learning environment. Her deep love for student success and proven track record of excellence make her the perfect fit to lead the Irondale community into an exciting new chapter.
Principal Hill’s expansive background spans holistic student development, vibrant school spirit, and fierce academic rigor. She has received several awards for her excellence in education, and has spent two decades understanding the heart and soul of school culture from the classroom to the administrative office. Principal Hill has served as an assistant principal at Brighton School, a school counselor at Erwin Middle School, and spent over a decade teaching and inspiring students as an English language arts educator.
Principal Hill’s leadership is backed by strong academic foundations from two premier institutions: The University of West Alabama, where she earned her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and M.Ed. in School Counseling, as well as Alabama A&M University, where she earned her B.S. in English Language Arts and M.Ed. in English Language Arts.
Beyond her extensive professional background, Principal Hill’s greatest inspiration comes from home. She is a proud wife, a mom of three beautiful children, and a doting grandmother to one grandchild.
