Be sure to wear gold or yellow on Thursday, September 24, 2026, as we team up with the Hope for Autumn Foundation to raise awareness of childhood cancer and advocate for resources to support patient families.

Give Hope Day hits close to home for many families in our district, and our hearts are with each of you who have a child who has battled cancer or is currently fighting. We stand with you during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and beyond. 💛

Today, we remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, as well as the brave men and women who risked their own lives to save others. Let us unite on this day of reflection and remembrance.

Ms. Clevenger's 3rd grade class is hard at work at their reading stations!

The Cubs were full of school spirit and house pride during Hueytown Intermediate School’s sorting day! Students were divided into six houses that form one big HIS Family, with each house representing positive values and characteristics. As the school year goes on, these students will earn points for academic achievements and exemplary character, helping create a positive culture within their house and the entire school! 👏🐾 We can’t wait to see these houses collect points and spread positivity!
