This holiday season was one that the Fultondale High School Blue Pride Marching Wildcats will never forget! Over winter break, the band proudly represented their school, community, and the state of Alabama at the Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, LA. They were the only band from the state of Alabama invited to perform in the iconic New Year's Day game. They performed in historic Jackson Square, marched in the French Quarter parade, and participated in an unforgettable halftime show.
Under the direction of Stephon Parker and Tariq Sabree, the Blue Pride Marching Wildcats showcased their musical talent and boundless energy on the national stage. The invitation is a testament to the band's strong reputation for excellence in our area, built through countless hours of practice, dedication, and commitment to representing Fultondale with pride.
This memorable experience was made possible through the hard work of the students, the support of families, and the guidance of the band's leadership and staff. Jefferson County Schools is proud of the Blue Pride Marching Wildcats for serving as outstanding ambassadors for their school and community.
