The Yellowjackets have been busy spreading holiday spirit throughout their community!✨🎄

During Corner High School’s 2nd annual Adopt a Grandparent event, the school sponsored 30 residents of a local nursing home and handed out more than 100 stockings to residents.💛

We appreciate Corner High’s counseling department for sponsoring such a wonderful program and extend our gratitude to everyone who helped make this event come to life!

Exceptional Education students from throughout our district had a blast at Jingle Bell Rock! Students met Santa and elves, raced through obstacle courses with the Grinch, enjoyed indoor snowball fights, and much, much more! So many wonderful memories were created today, and we sincerely appreciate Corner’s student and staff volunteers, along with the Exceptional Education Department, for making this fun event possible.🎉

We also want to say a big thank you to Hueytown High School, which hosted its Jingle Bell Rock earlier this week! These events bring our students so much joy, and that makes us JEFCOED Proud!💙

Congratulations to Gina Anderson who recently achieved her MOC (Maintenance of Certificate) with her National Board Certification.

Holding National Board Certification is a rare distinction achieved by less than 4% of teachers nationwide, and keeping it active requires a relentless commitment to professional growth. This accomplishment demonstrates not just advanced expertise, but a career-long dedication to ensuring her students receive the best education possible.
Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Anderson on this outstanding professional milestone!
