Good things happening! 📚🎓 Dozens of our students participating in the ACE program were recently recognized for their outstanding academic achievements, including THREE seniors who will soon graduate with their associate degrees (before they even graduate from high school! 🎉)

The students pictured here are from Center Point High School, Pinson Valley High School, and Mortimer Jordan High School. Each of them has earned at least a 3.0 GPA in their dual-enrollment courses at Lawson State Community College, with some accumulating more than 15 credit hours while maintaining a 3.0 GPA!

We are also thrilled to share that the following seniors will be graduating from Lawson State Community College with their associate degrees this Friday!

Today we celebrated Career and Technical Education Month by holding our board meeting at Mortimer Jordan High School. During the meeting, Bobby Jackson, our Director of Career and Technical Education, did a phenomenal job sharing the achievements and growth happening within our CTE programs. Our district leaders also had the privilege of enjoying delicious meals prepared and served by Culinary Arts students from Center Point High School, Pinson Valley High School, and Mortimer Jordan High School!

It was a true honor to see our students showcase the valuable skills they’re learning through our CTE Pathways. They are thriving in these programs and will continue to accomplish big things!
