We are pleased to announce Ms. Monisha Seay has been named Principal of Bryant Park Elementary School.

Ms. Seay said she is truly honored to serve in this role. Over the past four years, she has had the privilege of working as the Assistant Principal at Bryant Park, and said she thoroughly enjoyed every moment of learning and growing alongside this community.

Ms. Seay brings more than 20 years of experience in education to this role. During this time, she has taught and connected with students ranging from Pre-K to sixth grade. Ms. Seay has worked throughout the state, including in Pelham, Montevallo, and the Center Point and Clay-Chalkville JEFCOED feeder patterns.

Each experience, according to Ms. Seay has shaped her understanding of the unique needs of students and families, and she is excited to bring this knowledge into her new role.

Outside of school, Principal Seay cherishes spending time with her family and friends. Traveling is also one of her passions, and she loves immersing herself in books.

As Monisha steps into this role, she is particularly enthusiastic about continuing to build and deepen the relationships she has formed with the students and their families in the Clay community. These connections are incredibly important to her, and she looks forward to expanding them even further as they work together to support students' growth.
