Following hours of tedious rehearsals and detailed preparation, we are proud to share that several JEFCOED students have earned their spots in the District 4 Honor Bands and All State Bands!
Securing a spot in the District 4 Alabama Bandmasters Association (ABA) Honor Bands and/or in the ABA All State Bands is a highly competitive process, as more than 900 students from Jefferson and Shelby Counties compete for just 200 positions. The following students qualified during auditions at Hoover High School on January 31, 2026.

Honor Band students will participate in the District 4 Honor Band Festival on February 20 and 21 at Oak Mountain High School. All State Band students will participate in the All State Band Festival in Mobile from April 16 to 18. Congratulations to you all!
