Greetings families on this Frigid Friday!
We have had a busy week engaged in all the things! We have been working hard to incorporate writing and deeper thinking in our daily practices. Please encourage your child to focus on writing complete thoughts, doing so with good writing mechanics, and looking carefully at the questions they are responding to. This will help them to be better thinkers and communicators.
We continue to have many students misusing phones. Students should not have phones out or on while on the bus, in the building, or at any school function. In addition, students in elementary school should not be on social media. Pictures and videos should not be shared among our students. These matters are increasingly harmful to the learning process. Please check your child's device regularly so you are aware of what they are seeing and saying.
We are excited to bring this year's Black History Program to you on Friday 2/28 at 9:00 AM. It has been awesome to see the students work hard to learn our history. We hope you can join us!!!
