During the band’s 2026 Spring Concert, students will unveil what’s believed to be the first-ever mariachi and band piece! The song, called “Mamita,” was composed by Sergio Barer and will make its debut at the end of tomorrow's concert. You can view the band’s spectacular performance in person or watch live on JEFCOED TV. It all gets underway at 6:30 p.m.

We are so excited to share that Mount Olive Elementary School 4th grader Jack Roberts has been named a winner of the Father Goose Poetry competition! ✍️🏆

As one of the winners, Jack had his poem, "Alabama, You Are Great," displayed during a special reception at the State Capitol. He will also have the opportunity to read his work at the Father Goose Poetry Festival in May! 🪿✨
