Students across our school district recently gathered at the Jefferson County Board of Education for the final Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council meeting of the year.
During Thursday’s meeting, students gave input and asked Superintendent Dr. Walter Gonsoulin thoughtful questions. These discussions allow our district to continue growing and thriving, and we appreciate our students for their participation.

As the meeting concluded, Superintendent Dr. Walter Gonsoulin honored the council’s graduating seniors. He presented each of them with a cord and wished them well as they prepare for their exciting new chapters.

We sincerely appreciate each member of the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council and thank them for advocating for their schools. These students are making a significant difference, and we can’t wait to see what they continue to accomplish.
