We are happy to announce Mr. Jermaine Howard as the new Principal at Johnson Elementary School!
Jermaine brings more than 14 years of educational experience to this role. He has served as a physical education teacher, in-school suspension teacher, and worked in administration in Jefferson County Schools in both the Minor and Pinson Zones. He was also a physical education teacher and coach of multiple sports in the Williamson County Schools system in Nolensville, Tennessee. Most recently, he spent three years as an assistant principal in Jefferson County Schools at Minor Middle School and Pinson Valley High School.
Mr. Howard is grateful and appreciative to JEFCOED for the opportunity to be a servant leader to students, faculty/staff, and the community of Pinson, where he will continue to help shape and mold young people daily.
On a personal note, Jermaine is married to his beautiful wife Tamika and they have one son, Greyson. He is so thankful for the two of them, as they always show him unwavering love and support in his path to give his time and efforts to others. He is also a United States Marine Corps veteran and a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
Mr. Howard is so excited to meet and greet his new family at Johnson Elementary School, in order to serve and collaborate as the new leader, to continue to make the school the best school it can be for student success and growth.
