We are proud to share that multiple JEFCOED elementary schools were recognized by the National PTA's Family School Partnerships! The schools include Bryan Elementary, Pleasant Grove Elementary, and Adamsville Elementary.
Bryan Elementary School was recognized by the Alabama PTA and the Jefferson County Council PTA (JCCPTA) for "Speaking Up for Every Child." The JCCPTA also honored Bryan for "Welcoming All Families and Supporting Student Success.”
Additionally, the school received the 100% Membership Consecutive Years Award for 43 consecutive years of 100% membership. This is the longest-running streak in Alabama PTA history.
Pleasant Grove Elementary was recognized by the Alabama PTA and JCCPTA for “Sharing Power.” Additionally, the JCCPTA presented the 2024-2025 Principal of the Year award to Pleasant Grove Elementary Principal, Mrs. Staci Lewis.
Adamsville Elementary was honored by the JCCPTA for "Communicating Effectively," and Adamsville Elementary teacher, Ms. Tiffany Gardner received the 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year award.
