Jefferson County Schools participating in food delivery program
The Jefferson County Schools district is partnering with the USDA and Baylor University to deliver food straight to qualifying students’ homes.
The Emergency Meals-to-You program (eMTY) mails 10 breakfasts and 10 lunches to a student’s home every two weeks. In order to receive food, students must attend a school that qualifies based on the program’s guidelines. Students must already be enrolled in the free and reduced lunch program. Siblings (ages 1-18) of qualifying students, will also be eligible to receive the meals.
