School Closure Update - March 26, 2020

Governor Kay Ivey and State Superintendent Dr. Eric Mackey announced today that students will not be returning to traditional school during the 2019-2020 school year. This is being done to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and to protect students, faculty, and staff. Safety continues to be our top priority.

We are expecting additional guidance from the Alabama State Department of Education, and we will communicate our district's plan to all stakeholders after we receive that information.

Please continue to observe social distancing guidelines and do everything possible to keep your family safe. We will be releasing more details in the coming days.
