There are several upcoming remote learning days that we want to make you aware of.
Thankfully, we are now able to provide an opportunity for our faculty and staff to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
In order to make this process run as quickly and efficiently as possible, we have worked with UAB to set up mass vaccination days. However, this will require our educators to leave campus at various times.
Therefore, all North Jefferson Middle School students will transition to remote learning this Friday, March 5th and Monday, March 29th.
Also, please look over the information below pertaining to state testing, Alabama Comprehensive Assessment (ACAP), for North Jefferson Middle School.
Remote students will be in the building to complete state testing on March 17th and March 18th, with small group and make-up testing to occur on March 19th. During these dates, all traditional students will complete assignments remotely. We will not have live sessions on these days (No annoying wake-up call.) Remote students will be contacted by school staff this week with more information. For more information on the ACAP testing for both traditional and remote students, please click here.
We will provide more information about class assignments prior to the remote learning days.
We deeply appreciate your partnership. We understand that remote learning places a burden on families. However, this is the first step in returning our school to normal. We ask for your continued support and patience.
