September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month and McAdory Elementary students joined the PAC to show their support. Every day 46 kids will be diagnosed with childhood cancer. McAdory Elementary participated again this year in a penny war to bring awareness and make a difference in the lives of children. Each day grade levels battled to bring in the most change with hopes of being the grade level on Friday with the most money collected to win a popcorn party. Friday’s totals were collected and Kindergarten came in first with $936.00. Our overall total for McAdory Elementary School is $3730 for Childhood cancer! Together we can make a difference in the lives of those fighting to survive. Great job McAdory!
