Weekly Announcements - Week of 8/16 to 8/20
As we continue to navigate through COVID-19 pandemic, parents, we need your assistance with ensuring safety for all of HMS faculty, staff and students. If someone in your home has tested positive for COVID-19, please contact our main office and follow the quarantine guidelines by keeping your child at home. If your child has been tested for COVID-19 and is awaiting results, please keep your child at home until results have been provided. Also parents, if you have been contacted by the school regarding your child being exposed, please adhere to the quarantine guidelines. HMS Device Distribution Plan
Parents, we will begin distributing devices this week beginning Wednesday, August 18th for 8th graders, Thursday August 19th for 7th graders, and Friday August 20th for 6th graders. All HMS students will receive a device.
Parents, lunches will be facilitated at HMS using a hybrid schedule. All students are eligible to receive a free lunch. In addition to lunches being served to students on campus, HMS will facilitate “Grab and Go” Meals the first day of each week from 8AM-9AM. This will begin August 16th.
**Students are expected to be dropped off and picked up on the side of the building, not the main entrance. Parents are to remain in their vehicles when dropping off and/or picking up students.
**Classes begin daily at 7:55AM.
**Parents, we will begin counting tardies to class this week beginning Wednesday, August 18th. Students have five minutes between each class.
**HMS Student Registration will begin daily at 8:30AM in the main office.
