COVID-19

As COVID-19 cases are on the rise, parents, we need your assistance with ensuring safety for all of HMS faculty, staff and students. If someone in your home has tested positive for COVID-19, please contact our main office and follow the quarantine guidelines by keeping your child at home. If your child has been tested for COVID-19 and is awaiting results, please keep your child at home until results have been provided. Also parents, if you have been contacted by the school regarding your child being exposed, please adhere to the quarantine guidelines. If you have any specific questions, please contact our school’s nurse, Nurse Morris. 

Student Dress Code

*Jeans with open holes above the knee are not allowed

*No halter-tops, spaghetti strap tops. Midriff tops, or overly revealing shirts

*Leggings and jeggins are allowed only if you have appropriate clothing over them that meet the dress code policy

*Skirts and dresses must be no shorter than 4 inches above the knee

Student Announcements

*2nd Nine Weeks Awards Day will be February 4th during 4th Period. We are requesting all parents to participate in the awards ceremony via WebEx. 

*Hueytown Middle School Cheerleaders will participate in the AHSAA state competition Thursday, Feb. 4th. We are extremely excited and proud of these young ladies and wish them well.
