2019-2020 JEFCOED Teachers of the Year

Congratulations to the 2019-2020 JEFCOED Teachers of the Year! These teacher leaders have been selected by their school to represent them as their Teacher of the Year as well as serve on the Jefferson County Schools Superintendent's Teacher Advisory Council (STAC). They have been recognized for their excellence in teaching and their dedication to their profession as educators. Our district is grateful for the difference that these teachers are making in the lives of our students and we look forward to their continued leadership as they serve our district through STAC. 


More About the Jefferson County Schools Superintendent's Teacher Advisory Council:

The Jefferson County Schools Superintendent’s Teacher Advisory Council exists to promote and support four core components of professionalism: advocacy, communication, leadership, and outreach. The council offers a bridge between the Jefferson County Schools superintendent and JEFCOED teachers, providing a direct avenue of communication and a systematic way to leverage teacher leadership with the goal of improving student achievement throughout the district. The council will provide its members with valuable school district information and a forum to discuss challenges, issues, questions and celebrations from the perspectives of all feeder patterns throughout the school district.
