Welcome to the Athletics Department of Jefferson County Schools!

The interscholastic athletic program provided by Jefferson County Schools is restricted to grades 7 through 12. It is governed by the Alabama High School Athletic Association or AHSAA. The philosophy is that the extra-curricular activities support the education process by supporting the development of the total child by creating a well-rounded citizen. Jefferson County Schools encourages participation by all students in appropriate extra-curricular activities.
