Robotics is a team comprised of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders.  They must apply to become a member of the team through an application process.  We look for students that like to problem solve and work as part of a team. Our team members then use manuals and internet resources to build a robot using a VEX IQ robot building kit.  Also during the club meetings, students learn to drive and practice scoring points to compete with other schools within our state. We participate in at least 3 competitions a year. In these competitions, students must work with their teammates and with other schools to determine strength in the skills of each team and to create a plan to work together to make as many points as possible.
