I am honored to be here at Shades Valley High School. I consider it a privilege to serve our faculty and staff as well as our students and community. When I entered the field of education, my desire was to be an administrator. I have always had a passion for leadership and finding innovative ways to ensure students learn and grow at their optimal ability level while also being actively engaged.

Prior to being an administrator, I gained experience in the classroom for 11 years. I have served on multiple educational committees throughout my teaching career. I have three beautiful children: Kennedy, RJ and Kynleigh. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, attending church and sporting events.

Ignacio “Nacho” Estrada once said, “If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.”  I believe that all students can learn and be successful. I am excited to help students become College and Career Ready upon their path to graduation and beyond from SVHS.  I am proud to be part of the Mountie Family, and look forward to helping our students transition to their future goals.
